Leaders Dialogue 3 – Oct 2026

October 16 @ 7:30 am - 9:00 pm

How prepared is your organisation for AI-enabled workforces, AI-ready graduates and the next wave of STEM skills demand?” or something like that i can add more colour if you need it?

STEM South West is hosting its upcoming Leadership Dialogue on Friday, October 16th, bringing together industry experts and professionals for an engaging morning of networking and discussion.

Speakers include:

  • Bob Savage, Strategic Advisor at 3Sixty
  • Emmanuel Adeleke, Partner at Deloitte
  • Jim O Mahony, Professor at MTU
  • Ronan Dineen, Gilead
AI is advancing at a pace that is reshaping how STEM organisations work, learn and make decisions. This Leaders Dialogue will explore where AI can amplify human judgement, creativity and problem-solving rather than replace them, and what leaders need to do now to build confidence, capability and responsible adoption across their organisations.
A core focus will be the role of academia in supporting industry through this transformation: preparing AI-ready graduates, protecting and strengthening foundational STEM problem-solving skills, and creating stronger pathways between education, research, spin-outs and industry application. The discussion will be strategic rather than technical, covering AI readiness, workforce transformation, future skills, leadership development, industry-academia collaboration and education reform.
